Hi Troy, as others have said, you're stuck with the storage you got at purchase time unless you investigate some external solutions. However, one way to make that storage go further is to spend the $25 on iTunes Match. This allows you to have access in the cloud to all of the music you've purchased from the iTunes Store, plus an additional 25000 songs you've obtained elsewhere. You can download some music for those times when you don't have an Internet connection. And if you ever get multiple Apple devices, it really makes managing your music across devices a breeze.
