Traci, If the finances are your concern, then I'd go for the shared plan. I'd check to be sure there aren't any extra charges before you do that though that might make it not worth sharing the plan.
As other's mention, once you go to the shared plan, you won't be able to go to the unlimited data, if that's important to you. My boyfriend and I don't use more than one gig, but I've kept the 2 gig data plan because I'd rather pay the extra 40 dollars a month than be billed the extra 15 if I go over. As time goes buy, our data uses has risen, especially my boyfriend's.
