Hi John, I think what Jim wanted to know and I also would like to find out is whether the on/off button is just a button or an actual switch. For example, do you physically feel if it is on or off or do you just have to push the button and hope that it's on or off? I guess you can always go into your Bluetooth after you turn it off and check to see if it says it's not paired which I guess would mean it's off, but it would be nice if you could feel it on the receiver itself.
