Hi Cheryl,

I assume you know this, but just in case you misunderstood, I believe the
code mentioned was just the pairing code and that should be a one-time
operation unless you completely reset your phone of course or get a new one
in which case you have to pair it again. I have the Radio Thermostat WiFi
capable thermostats and they also display a pairing code on the screen where
you need sighted help although I did once manage to get the correct code by
taking a picture and sending it to VisWiz. I find that if I can use a
product and an app really well and the only issue is that I need somebody to
glance at the device for 3 seconds to tell me a 4-digit code then that is
quite acceptable. This code will always be required so the device pairs
securely with your phone and for some devices having it display on the
device may simply be the only option.

Hmmm, having to get the code read to pair it is kind of a big deal as far as
I'm concerned. If I can't do it myself I think twice or three times about it
unless I absolutely have to have it.
