I had a 4, and passed on the 4s, and got a 5 3 months ago. A new model would really have to do something to blow me out of the water before I would consider upgrading any time soon.

Subject: RE: question Iphone 5

Hi Andy,

I have an iPhone 4S, but I seem to remember some people said the iPhone 5
had maybe slightly better sound, but I couldn't say from my own experience.

Also, if I were looking for a phone but wasn't absolutely in a position
where I had to buy one right this moment or maybe I should say in the next 3
months, I would not buy an iPhone 5 now. There are a lot of rumours that
Apple is releasing this year's iPhone in June again rather than in the fall.
They are of course rumours, but I think in the next 4 to 6 weeks we should
hear more about this and see if there are leaks to indicate that this will
be so.

I also saw some messages about some new thing where Apple will be working
with a number of hearing aid manufacturers to offer very good integration
between the iPhone and hearing aids. I could easily imagine that this is
something that may be a feature of iOS 7, but I am not sure if there is also
a hardware component to it. If it is strictly a matter of iOS then it should
work fine with the iPhone 5, 4S and maybe even back to the 4. If special
hardware is needed it would only be something that is supported in the new
iPhone that's coming this year.

I highly recommend the Today in iOS podcast, the guy who is doing that
Podcast, Rob, has been at it since just before the first iPhone came out in
2007 and I think what he presents is well balanced and very informative.

Regards,
Sieghard
