Hi Susanne,
When you say copying into the Automatically Add to iTunes folder doesn't work, do you have iTunes open when you copy the files? I believe the way to do this is to make sure iTunes is closed, then copy the files into the Automatically Add to iTunes folder and once that's done open iTunes. Let me know if you do it that way or, if not, maybe give it a try. It works fine for me, but you can also add music simply by copying it into the Music folder right away, that is the music folder that is in iTunes Media. After you have copied the music, open iTunes, go to "File" and "Add Folder to Library". Now browse to the Music folder in iTunes Media, make sure it's highlighted by pressing enter on it and then tab to the "Select" button and activate it. This will import anything in your music folder into your music library. If you already have music in there that is OK as it will not duplicate anything that is already there. For whatever reason, copying and pasting to my "automatically add to iTunes" folder no longer works. Thanks a ton for any assistance.
