Hi Sandy,

I haven't had this problem with TextGrabber. I do find that I have to
clear the final action of what to do with the text, in order to take a
new picture. I've used the copy option, then scanned another item and
pasted the previously copied text at the beginning of the text as a
way of handling multi-page scans. I may choose the email option, then
save as a draft as a way to make sure results are saved in a way that
I can get to an intermediate step. You may eventually hit a memory
limit for how much you can copy and paste If you have lots if other
apps in your app switcher. So far I haven't hit a problem. If you
restart your iPhone can you get back to taking camera shots with
TextGrabber? Remember that I haven't had a chance to use this with
StandScan Pro yet. are you loading this up with other functions like
translation of scanned text, as well as lots of pages? If worst comes
to worst, you can try deleting and then reinstalling the app. Sorry I
can't think of more suggestions, but this app hasn't frozen on me yet.
Any other details you can provide of what you were doing might help.
Also, maybe you can try clearing out the history. From the main
TextGrabber screen, double tap the "history w" button in the bottom
left corner of the screen. On the "History" screen, double tap the
"Edit" button in the top right corner. Then, flick through or double
tap the "delete" options for each if your listed items, and flick
twice or else touch the right side of the screen to get to the
"confirm deletion" button and double tap. Go through the list, which
orders your history items chronologically, and delete some items.
double tap the "done" button in the top right corner of the History
screen when you have made the deletions that you want. Then try
double tapping the "camera" button in the top left corner to retun to
the main screen and try to take a picture.

Also, you can toggle the crop feature on or off by double tapping the
second button at the top of the screen. make sure this is still set
to be announced as "crop on" button, or the app will pause to prompt
you to crop when you take a picture. In that case, you'll hear "crop
gripper" after your shot, and will need to exit by double tapping the
"new photo" button at the bottom left corner, to return to the main
screen. Make sure you haven't erroneously double tapped buttons like
the one to change the crop function on the main screen. Ordinarily,
you should never be changing them - especially since the button
control to take a picture with the camera is at the bottom center of
the screen, and the button control to use an image from the camera
roll or album is in the bottom right corner, and the other
configuration buttons are all at the top of the screen. If none of
this works, please provide more details of what you were doing when
the app stopped responding. I'm running out if ideas, since this
hasn't happened to me.

HTH. Cheers,

Esther
