Hi. I purchased this keyboard on the basis of Raul's awesome demo. The
price was also a contributing factor. It was under $30 and eligible for
that ever popular Super Saver Shipping.
Thanks to the demo, I was able to pair the keyboard with my iPhone
completely solo, and I'm a totally blind tech dork. The only difference
between my experience and the demo was that I had to install the batteries
myself. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase.
This keyboard is small, but the keys are large enough for someone with big
hands, there's a raised dot on the F and J keys, as well as dots on the up
and down arrow keys. There are also media control keys, as well as a volume
key at the top of the keyboard. You can turn on voice over help once the
keyboard is paired and learn the layout that way, though only the top row
are different from a conventional keyboard.
I really like this keyboard's feel for the money. I'm considering
purchasing the case Amazon offers just to extend the keyboard's portability.

Hi, more on this app. I played with it a little more and saw that in
order for it to read, it uses cloud-based TTS reading. So this means
that which ever document you have loaded in the app, it uses data to
send the document to the net and then the TTS voice reads it to you.
So, this is a bit like streaming. I don't know how much data it uses
up with this method, but I don't see it as being a viable source of
reading text files. I also think it only supports txt files, but I
could be wrong on this point. I would still choose to use Voice Dream
Reader since it offers much more features and it doesn't use a
cloud-based TTS to get you that higher quality voice.
