I just downloaded the CBS app. I don't find a search button so how do you find the show you want to watch?

Note: shows are not shown in real time. This lets you watch the show when you want to not when somebody tells you to. This is the way TV is going. According to USA Today, 5 percent of households in the US don't watch TV on their TV. Instead, the TV is used to watch DVDs and to play video games. The network broadcasters knows this and the numbers will only creep up higher. There is an ABC app as well that lets you watch ABC programming including the ABC news broadcast. my problem with that is, the broadcast might be a day old but I've noticed that the way news is delivered has changed. Stories called packages meaning they came from elsewhere. These are the stories about some kid making money for the poor kids where ever by selling Cool-aid at a nickel a cup and doing a land office business etc. So if you want to watch ABC shows try the ABC app which is free and VO friendly. I have tried the NBC Nightly news app but cannot make the full broadcast button work. This app lets you select the news stories you want to view and skip those you don't and then run your own selections of stories. Or, you can just watch the full broadcast. The previews version of the app was totally voice over friendly. It's to bad the new app is harder to use. If anybody can figure out how to use the full broadcast button, please let me know how it's done. I'd really appreciate that. Lastly, there is a CBS radio free app which lets you listen to CBS Radio which has gone news only. There is a button in the top left hand corner just under the status indicators that says radio button off. I just learned that www.parables.tv.com has an app for the iphone and it's free. To sign up for Parables.tv you need to go to the website and it is $1 for a week's trial, then you choose a plan, the monthly plan is less than $7, but then you can use the Iphone app and not watch on the computer. I had trouble with signing up a few months ago and totally forgot about it but today got a note from them inviting me to try again, and I did.
