I'd be checking for newer router firmware before I got excited about
replacing the phone. It might also be good to unplug the router and
find out how many other routers you can see. Some neighborhoods are so
crowded that wi-fi is very hard. A friend's house only worked halfway
decent with laptops because they have multiple antennas.
