There are times when an all-singing all-dancing thing is not the solution, so a separate digital recorder has it's uses as does an old or cheap phone with just the basic buttons, have their uses. I have all these in the same jacket as the iPhone. The cheap phone can have the cheapest PAYG plan for when you have to use slection system 'bots.
