Hello Anne, Thanks very much, that worked like a charm. It's a good idea to have the apps set to different languages. I find that TextGrabber is a bit more flexible in this area, as it supports many more languages than Prizmo and you can have up to three languages active at once. I presume that having more than one language set is bound to detract slightly from the OCR accuracy, but I do find it very useful, as I often need to scan documehnts which are basically written in Czech, but which contain an occasional quote in English or French.

Hello Nicky, As far as I can tell, you have to have taken a picture and decided to use it before you can get to the screen where you change the language. Before that, OCR is dimmed. The OCR button is at the bottom right of the screen, and when you double-tap it, you'll get the screen where you change the language. I use both Prizmo and TextGrabber. So I've set one to English and the other to French to avoid having to mess with the language.
