I don't use this app, but people have been saying that it uses the standard messaging screen for iOS. That being said, you can type in contacts names, and above the keyboard, there will be options such as home, mobile, ET see. You should just be able to double-tap on one of those, and it should be entered into the to field. I do this all the time for email.
