That assumes though that you have selected vertical navigation on in the
rotor selection menu
Settings, General, Accessibility, Voice Over, Rotor, Here is a list of items
you can add or remove from the rotor. Single finger double tap to select or
deselect.

You just use the rotor at any point, turning your thumb and forefinger as
if you are on a radio dial, until it says "vertical navigation".

I was mildly surprised to find that the virtical navigation worked
with this game. In most instances I have found it to be virtually
useless. For instance, I tried to use it in other table-oriented
applications, such as Numbers, and it was completely useless.
In the Robo-E game it works quite well though.
