I have trouble with the 4 finger double tap near the top to go to the top of
a list or a 4 finger double tap near the bottom of the screen to go to the
bottom of a list. It is useful say when you've got a list of 250 email
messages which are desplayed newest first. I like to read the oldest first
because it makes it easier to follow the thread which is probably why Apple
did it that way because with the gesture you can quickly go either way. I
understand though why Apple did it that way. Most people don't sit around
on their ass all day on emailing lists! LOL! Most people are waiting for a
reply or a new message etc so I get it but I'm usually holding my iPhone
going from top to bottom because it's easier to hold it that way and I can't
always get all 4 fingers on the damn screen and I've not managed it yet and
yet everybody insists it works. Maybe I should try it with the screen
sideways. Please let me know if it works for you or maybe I'm doing it
wrong.

Dan and all,
try this site:
http://axslab.com/articles/ios-voiceover-gestures-and-keyboard-commands.php
It lists gestures in a table and also sorts by the various number of taps
and fingers and the numerous combinations thereof.
The voice Over help was helpful for me and I still use it, but I'm not
familiar enough with the phone to know how many fingers and taps do what
in what combination, and some of these combos are things I never would
have thought of because I still don't know about all of the possible
combinations and how to make them or even which gestures are actually
available.

Subject: gesture helper?
HI,
I am learning more and more gestures that I was not aware of. It is
great to learn of them on this list.
My question is this, is there a place where you can find a listing of the
different gestures that are available for the IPhone?
I have read through the documentation on-line but have not found such a
list.
Thanks.
