I would highly recommend the Aftershokz Bluez bluetooth bone conduction headphones. They also make a corded model. The neat thing about them is that they do not go into your ear. The transducers sit on the bone in front of your ear, and the audio is conducted directly into the inner ear. This means that you can also hear ambient noise, so they are great for using GPS programs when you are walking around. They work well with Siri. Music sounds great, even though perhaps not as clear as with traditional headphones, but very acceptable. The regular price is $119, but Serotek has a promotion going where you can get 40% off the retail price, making it about $72. To get the discount, you need to order directly from the manufacturer at www.aftershokz.com. What you want are the Bluez headphones. Enter the promo code SPN40.
Enjoy, Andy From: Sherrie Sent: Friday, April 12, 2013 4:47 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Strange-Apple earpods won't work on iPhone but are not defective My iPhone no longer recognizes the Apple earpods. But the earpods work on all other gadgets I plug them into so there is no problem with them. I even tried several other Apple earpods that belonged to family members and they won’t work on the iPhone. What is weird is that the earphone jack is not dead because some cheapy earphones with mic still work on my iPhone 5. So I can only use the cheap earphones. I am nervous that some time even these won’t work and then the iPhone won’t be very useful since I use earphones all the time. I do have a Blue Ant earphone but can’t use it for listening to my audio books like the wired ones since you can’t start and stop the book with the blue tooth earphone. Any suggestions?
