Joseph, thanks for your post. This is the bluetooth speaker I'm about to
purchase based on my reviews of various youtube videos and the podcast which
was on AppleVis. I do have one question for you. One of the youtube videos
showed the user initiating Siri by holding down the Flip's speaker phone
answer button. Since that worked and seems the same as the center remote
button on a pair of earpods, I'm wondering if you can also change tracks
with that button when listening to music. Would you mind playing some music
and pressing that button twice to see if it advances to the next track or
three times to move back to the previous track? If this works, pressing the
two or three times and holding should also move forward and backward within
a playing track.

Thanks.

Alan Lemly

Subject: JBL Flip Bluetooth Speaker system

Hello List,
For some time now, several of us have been discussing Bluetooth speaker
systems. A while back, I expressed interest in purchasing the Big Jambox.
However, after listening to an reading reviews on Applevis.com, I decided to
purchase the JBL Flip speaker.
1. It was $99.99 plus tax.
2. the distortion free volume output is far superior to the Big Jambox.
3. I love its' shape.
4. It was a snap to pair with my iPhone and iPad. It will remember up to 8
devices and connect to either of 2 devices quickly.
If you are looking for an affordable bluetooth speaker/speaker-phone/Siri,
this is for you.
I am still testing out the range situation. So far, it appears to work right
up to 33 feet then cutout starts to happen.

Sent from my Sprint iPhone 4S
