Hi Jos,
Thank you for your explanation. I hope this update is coming as soon as you can. Blind and visually impaired people have the same needs as sighted people. It is not right to assume that most of us do this or that. Setting a common denominator at the lowest level is not right. I would say that it is important to all of us to be able to know when an appointment ends so we know when to book the next one and this, whether we need to book 2 or 20 appointments a day. Having to make anyone wait for us forever while we try to figure out our schedule makes us feel inadequate in a world where we constantly have to fight to keep up. At the end of a meeting, when everyone is looking at their agenda to try and figure out the best date and time for the next meeting, We, like everyone else have to have the information at our fingertips. It is not fare to make everyone wait for the blind person to fumble around to get his or her act together. Hope you understand my point of view. I hope to integrate that in the future. The thing is that most people do not need/want to set and end time for most appointment unless they have a full business schedule or let their calendar being managed by others. You may fall into that category? I did the same thing in another app that I developed, Easy Calendar, and in both we would like to add 'end time' as an optional field. The fact that VO Calendar now assumes 1 hour is because the iOS calendar does not support and optional end time. One more thing I find is seriously lacking in VO Calendar is the fact that I can't easily see what time an appointment ends. The app almost assumes that every appointment is one hour. It is inconvenient to have to go into more options just to find out what time an appointment ends when wanting to add another. I don't feel comfortable having people wait for me while I fish all over for information as to when I am available when that information should be available up front. If someone knows a way to do this without jumping into the native calendar, please let me know. Ron & Danvers Falling down is part of LIFE... Getting back up is LIVING...
