On a self-help list like this, we could sort it between us where the most sighted could help the most blind. I know we did that at blind school without giving it a second thought.
Like I said, the availability of volunteers is good. On this list of some 1500 members, I've not read anyone in recent or distant on this list also having a desperate need for someone to read or describe X "right now!--it's life or death." I'm sure anyone can come up with hypothetical situations, but my comments relate to the most probable. If released, like many other apps, it will follow the same trajectory.... lots of initial buzz. waning buzz. flat lining buzz. Developer will need money, or volunteers will lose interest, or audience will disappear. Don't get me wrong, if released I guess I too will use it, but if it doesn't come to fruition, again, I have backup support. :) LS ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ricardo Walker" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, April 28, 2013 5:14 PM Subject: Re: BeMyEyes: A ground braking product I'm a part of lol, What if you have no family that has skype or facetime or, there just not available?
