Don't quote me on this, but I think that amazon keeps your content in their
cloud.
The IOS app touts that you can use it on multiple devices, and it remembers
where you left off.

Subject: Kindle App Question

Is it possible to save books downloaded from Amazon to the Kindle app to the
computer through iTunes? I just want to have copies in case something goes
wrong.
