How do you delete a book if you know longer want it?

You ought to be able to read them. It downloads from the cloud onto your
device and it stays there. Just do your downloading before you board the
flight is all.

When you read the book it downloads but the book is always in the cloud.
If you really want a copy that you can keep you can always get the Kindle
app for the PC and download a book on to the PC.
