Hello Don,

This is not the first I've heard of this issue.

This is merely a suggestion and I hate to say this but I just want to make
sure before I make a suggestion. That the following suggestion is and with
your choice. ;)

The only way I have heard when the AutoLock is no longer working is do the
following. Go to the Settings -> General -> Reset. On this page the first
item is the Reset All Settings. Double tap on this and things should be back
to normal.

There are other users that seem to have this issues in IOS 6. A bug? Not
certain but you are not the first that I have heard of this problem. No
matter what they do it never seems to fix the problem. They have changed the
AutoLock several different ways with no avail. Although, at times if you
have an app open it would AutoLock but not on the Home Page. Very odd
behaviors.

Perhaps, somebody else has a better alternative solution? I am guessing you
have done a reboot of your phone? Also, to make sure some App in the App
Swticher was in the background preventing you from going in to a AutoLock?

HTH

Regards,
AnonyMouse

Subject: Auto screen lock on 3GS is disabled

I have apparently screwed up a setting which automatically locks the screen
on my 3GS after the specified interval.

When I got this phone, it was working fine and was set to one minute. So I
subsequently went into settings, general, and auto lock and set it to two
minutes rather than one. Now I note that regardless of where I have the
setting, the screen does not lock automatically. So I must have
inadvertently changed something else when I was perusing the various
settings. Just when this lack of screen locking began is something of which
I am unsure. Does anyone have any ideas as to what else I might have
changed?

Thanks in advance.

Don Roberts
