yesterday I was trying to read a windowed envelope, Talking Goggles said first class and nothing else. Text Grabber said nothing, Prizmo said nothing, my flatbed scanner read out some strange number an my name, at least I found it was my mail and not my husband's. Since it was a large envelop with what felt like a print book in it I wanted to be sure it was not his requiring more medical info, since it is mine I assume it is the prospectus on my retirement funds and I don't understand it even if I manage to read it.
Point is you get different info from different apps, anywhere from nothing to garbage to maybe one or two words that mean something. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Lisa belville Sent: Thursday, May 09, 2013 5:37 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Camera app question Hi. You want Talking Goggles. I believe it's $0.99. You can record using the video choice or the still camera. Most of us on this list seem to have more luck with the video setting, but it wouldn't hurt to try it out. It will read text back to you, though it's been hit or miss for me. As far as I know, you can't store any pictures or videos made by Talking Goggles. Lisa Chocolate is the answer... who cares what the question is! I don't remember which app though it was. I looked up Google goggles, and tap tap see, but none of these mention anything about a video readout. Does anyone know what the app is that I'm referring to that you can take pictures and video with, and you will get both read back out to you? Thanks.
