That's my thinking, hence the reason for getting the iPad for me now,
which, I don't think I'll be using as a phone. <smile>.

Where did you see this price? Best price I've seen was on Blind
Bargains for $299.00. I've never seen a new one for less. I also plan to
eventually get either a mini or full sized iPad but am waiting for a bit
longer to see what news arrives next month.

Hey folks. Just thought I'd share with the group that I'm getting an
iPad mini. Uncle Sam was generous this year with the tax return and so I
am able to afford one. It will help me in teaching others since that's
what I do for a living these days. Even though I can easily teach the
iPhone and iPod Touch because I have one, I have felt a bit like a
hypocrite when teaching the iPad since I didn't have one and could only
go by normal iOS usage and from reading things on how few things are
different. Now, I'll be able to teach for real as it were.
I'm also looking to the shifting of doing certain things on the iPad vs
the iPhone. I'm sure that will help my batteries on both devices.
