No need to guess. Google says it's a ',' (comma) for a pause and a ';'
(semicolon) for a wait. You can use multiple commas to increase the
pause. The shift key on the numeric keypad of your iPhone, in the lower
left hand corner, will let you enter commas and semicolons.

there iPhone 5? For example, I call into my office, then I have to
dial a numeric code, and then a separate PIN. I would be interested
