You should find that same option for image or text view in the Kindle app, at least in some mags. The thing I don't care for in the Nook app is that you can't move from one article to the next just by reading as you would do a book. At least, this has been true in the Christian Science Monitor, the only subscription I have on the Nook app. It reads fine; I'm just not thrilled with having to go back to the TOC for each article.
