Buddy, It already is quite accessible. If you have IOS 6, you can label the bottom five buttons in the Dock Categories, Channels, Favorites, On-Demand, and Downloads. If you swipe left, then the Settings button becomes visible at the bottom.
You can listen to on-demand shows, see what is playing on the different channels, etc. Yes, its not perfect, but it is a lot better than it was a couple years ago when you had to turn Voiceover off to activate an option. JMO, Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.
