Hi, one thing which I've done is started to use Fleksy more on the iPad mini than I ever did on the iPhone. Typing on the iPhone is no issue for me and so never found Fleksy to be all that useful to me. However with the iPad mini, I flip that baby to landscape and can type pretty fast. yes, I unfortunately still have to copy my text if I want it elsewhere, but considering how much time I save the little extra is worth it so far. I also have the Sped Dots protector on it and it comes in handy considering there is a lot of screen to explore. Other than the weird swiping gesture issue I'm having, which I wrote about on another thread to the list, I am really liking the iPad mini.

Hi Raul.

I think you will love typing on the iPad Mini compared to the iPhone. Granted,
I haven't had an iPhone ever, but I had an iPod 4Th gen for a while before my
husband inherited it. I don't know how they did it, given the screen size, but
you'll be able to type almost like you do on a full-sized QWERTY
keyboard--except for those symbols and numbers. You still have to hit the
buttons to get to those.

Good luck getting used to it; it probably will not take long, though. :)

Hey folks. Just thought I'd share with the group that I'm getting an iPad mini.
Uncle Sam was generous this year with the tax return and so I am able to afford
one. It will help me in teaching others since that's what I do for a living
these days. Even though I can easily teach the iPhone and iPod Touch because I
have one, I have felt a bit like a hypocrite when teaching the iPad since I
didn't have one and could only go by normal iOS usage and from reading things
on how few things are different. Now, I'll be able to teach for real as it were.

I'm also looking to the shifting of doing certain things on the iPad vs the
iPhone. I'm sure that will help my batteries on both devices.

Cheers.
