When I have several apps in my app switcher and am busy with my iPhone, the speech sometimes stops and reboots. It has never stopped for more than 30 seconds. When it stops, I wait for it to start again. I suspect this is Apple's fix for an earlier problem where everything would crash when memory got too full.
