The xFinity remote app has lots of usability. It is not fully accessible by any means, but if you use it in junction with the tv guide mobile app, you can get a lot done.
The tv listings are not accessible. If you know the name of the tv show, you can find it and set up a episode or series recording. You can go into the more tab and manage some dvr settings, such as schedule, episode/series settings, etc. The app does not allow you to play actual recordings. The on-demand tab use to be accessible, but I have not played with that part for a while now. Oh, and it works to enter a channel number and turn your tv to that channel.
