No, the app is designed for the sighted. Why do people think apps which developers access the blind to try and ensure accessibility are designed for the blind? Designing specifically for the blind, rather than the sighted, means the market is going to be very tiny, so the developer must charge a healthy premium for the app. Because we are only 0.5% of the population, it is on us to adapt, not the other way round. This may seem unfair. So, please consider the following thought. In the contract you signed about the life you were starting, when you were born, where did it state that life was going to be fair.
I, personally, prefer this new model, where we get to pay general market prices, because so many apps are, or are being made, accessible to VO. Think about it.
