Hi listers, Do any of you have any idea as to what would cause the Braille Edge 40 to not be recognized by my iPhone 5? I've paired my phone with a number of devices with no difficulty including other braille displays. As far as I can tell, I followed the direction to the letter from the Hims manual as to putting the Edge into terminal mode. I even reset all network settings on the phone. However, no matter what I do, the Braille Edge does not appear when I go into the braille device area of the VoiceOver settings. The only thing displayed is "searching" and it is dimmed. I do have the latest version of IOS, and I was told that my unit is equipped with the latest firmware from Hims.
I know this usually works, and I've seen demos on Youtube, and I've listened to podcasts demoing this. Anyone have any idea what I could possibly be doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help provided. Regards, Paula Mack -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
