What PVR do you have? I don't think you'll find a generic solution for
all DVR's, but you can definitely do this with some DVR's. I can do
everything you're asking about with the TiVo app and the TiVo that comes
with our cable TV service.

channels on the TB no trouble, but I have no way of recording or replaying
programs on our PVR. I must have my sited wife do that.
I was thinking something like the Remote App that controls iTunes on my Mac
