Hello,

I use BrailleTouch quite well. I went into settings and switched the cell,
so dots 1-2-3 are on the left and dots 4-5-6 are on the the right. When I
face the screen away from me, my index fingers will select dots 1 or 4,
middle fingers dots 2-5, and my ring fingers dots 3-6. This is my choice or
preferred method to input text into my phone. I haven't looked back in using
either Fleksey and only use the main keyboard in a pinch. HTH.

Subject: Re: Braille typing apps

The thing that I find most confusing about these types of apps, is that
while most of them have you type as if the dots are laid out in the form of
a Braille cell, which I could get used to, it's flipped upside down. So,
while your pointer fingers are both dots one and four, there at the bottom
of the cell, instead of the top.

Thanks,
Ari

Hi listers,

I love my Iphone 4S and enjoy the various things that it offers. The only
problem that I have is that of typing.

There are 4 Braille typing apps: Brailletouch, Braillist, Braillepad and
typinBraille. I am finding it difficult to use any of them although I am a
proficient Braille user. Could someone throw some light on it? Is there
anyone who uses any of these apps as their primary keyboard?

Please do help.

With regards,

Ketan
