If you twist your wrists far enough so the screen is absolutely away from you, the dots is the right way up then. The thing that I find most confusing about these types of apps, is that while most of them have you type as if the dots are laid out in the form of a Braille cell, which I could get used to, it's flipped upside down. So, while your pointer fingers are both dots one and four, there at the bottom of the cell, instead of the top.
