Hi mary, While they haven't said so specifically, the comments regarding auto-update were that it most likely will be something a user can turn on or off.
SIRI did sound amazing during the keynote and I wouldn't be surprised if we would get the male and female voices as Voiceover options. Also liked the Control Center feature and the fact that SIRI can finally do things like turn on and off Bluetooth, play your last voice mail and I think the integration with Wikipedia will be good. iTunes match now also is much more attractive to me since the $28 or whatever it costs here in Canada per year will also give me add free use of the new iTunes Radio service provided it will be available in Canada which they didn't say. We can't get \pandora up here, but even in the States I think iTunes Radio is probably going to hurt Pandora quite a bit because if you don't mind the ads it is completely free with full functionality. It would be nice if Apple Accessibility would release a list of upcoming changes and improvements with respect to Vloiceover, maybe Applevis should contact Apple to see if they would consider doing something like that, Applevis would be a good place to publish it. Given the number of apps that break accessibility when they get updated, audo update sounds like it could be a problem if it can't be turned off. Love the new siri voices. I wonder what they are. And will they be the new VO voices? Mary Otten [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
