Speculating here, but we will probably hear more about accessibility improvements when we get closer to the official launch of iOS 7, or even on the day of. Though it would be good to find out about these at the keynote, it is not something that the mainstream masses want to know about. In other words, we are part of the audience, but we are not the complete audience for new features of the new iOS version.
