T-Mobile provides five gigabytes of data at high speed before hey
throttle. I have T-Mobile. Listening to Tune In radio, checking
e-mail, surfing the Internet, using Apple Maps, and other apps has not
even consumed half of five gigs in a month. it hasn't even consumed a
whole gig. I have even placed hour long calls on Magic Jack and
haven't exceeded a whole gig in a month. I don't have WIFI at home so
almost all my activity is on cellular data. I don't believe you have
anything to worry about. T-Mobile has placed a link in your Safari
bookmarks where you can get your current usage of voice minutes and
data.
