Hi there. It could be a timing issue. For example, if you are on the home
screen and you press space with H you will be placed in the search. Now again,
if you are on the home screen and you press space with H twice you will be
placed in the app switcher. Also, if you were inside an app and you press space
with age twice you will be put in the app switcher. So, pressing space with H
twice quickly no matter where you are will put you in the app switcher. What I
am thinking might be happening is that the space H command is not registering
quickly enough to be seen as a double press of the home button and so if the
app switcher is not opening. Maybe you are inside an app, you press space with
H one time which put you on the home screen and then the second one is seen
just for enough so that it is a second command instead of part of the first
command. Since space with age from the home screen Puts you in the search,
perhaps this is why sometimes you get the search and sometimes you get the app
switcher. This has happened to me when pressing the F1 key twice using my
Bluetooth keyboard. If it is seen as two separate presses of the home button as
opposed to one double press of the home button, these are my results.
