Nancy, I've been thinking about what you want, and it seems to me that an app called Voice Vision is what you might be looking for. I'm sure there is information about it on http://www.applevis.com but if I remember correctly, one can take a pic then using Voice Vision label that picture with an audio label for later reference. I believe one could use it with other items as well like clothes boxed foods etc.

This wouldn’t be an app for determining one’s sexual orientation, but would be an easy to use leveler. I know there are already a couple of audio levelers out there, and I haven’t checked them recently but I’ve found them a bit tedious to use.
