Hi, the latest version of Google maps start button isn't spoken as start
button, but as something inocuus. Just tap the bottom center of the
screen and double tap and the directions will start. I use this app
almost daily to get bus directions here in Houston for the Metro and it
works super. It's true that it could use some better accessibility, but
it still works the way it is.

If you're having a bad day, just remember in 1976 Ronald Wayne sold his
10% stake in Apple for $2,300. It is now worth $59,565,410,309. -

If you're using Google Maps, the start button isn't seen by voiceOver. I
get around this by turning off VoiceOver and tapping the lower right
hand corner of the screen. I've reported this to Google, but I'm still
waiting for it to be addressed.

Hi I found on my iPhone I have the Google search and the goole maps apps
installed on my iPhone.
So today I said navigate to whatever address was wanting to have the
phone navigate me to.
Using the audible turn by turn directions on my iPhone.
But I didn't get any spoken turn by turn directions.
So what did I do incorrectly or can you not get spoken turn by turn
directions using that app or apps on the iPhone 4?
