As someone here pointed out, this is a new problem that didn't until exist until a recent iPhone OS update.
It's the iPhone, not the app, that's forcing the changeover from the speaker. We're trying to figure out why and how to work around it. In the meantime, as someone who uses the app a lot, here's what I've discovered: If I'm going to be unhappy with the audio recording, I know that without having to preview it. If after recording it I think, "That sounded okay," it always turns out okay. So I just share the PhotoVoice without needing to hear the Preview (unless I hold it to my ear). Here's a quick & dirty fix (and I know this shouldn't be necessary; this is just a workaround until we can figure out why Apple has made the audio changes): Sometimes after making a PhotoVoice, I'll email it to myself. Without quitting the app, I'll open the email I just sent myself and play the PhotoVoice -- which plays in full volume, over the speaker. Thanks to everyone here who has had kind words for our little app. *P.S. *I'd love to hear how anyone here is using it... -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the "VIPhone" Google Group.
