For me they evened out my hearing, true stereo which is the second reason I considered them, the first was not having to have them inside my ears. Music is not perfect, I will grant that but, I am hearing in stereo for the first time in 23 years, since I had a 12-hour surgery to remove a glomus tumor or an acoustic neuroma.

Well, I didn't get them specifically for music. They sound Okay, but only if I'm using them while just sitting waiting or not wanting good sound quality. They do feel odd if I've got them turned up as they vibrate even at low volume, and the higher volume increases the vibration on the sides of my face that actually tickles and then gets really annoying after a while. I can hear them just fine, but at first I did have to fiddle with the VO volume, the headphone volume, and the volume switches on the phone to strike a balance, though because they're all independent of each other. I can hear the GPS and conversation around me, though I need to concentrate more on each individual element just as I would when using and external device.
