I love this idea about adding items to a grocery list in Reminders but Siri would not reply correctly to the command you suggest which was What items do I have in (name of list) in reminders. After much trial and error I got her to show the list by saying Show me Grocery List in Reminders. She did not seem to like the words items in or on pertaining to the name of the list.
Maybe your Siri is mor cooperative but mine is very picky! For example, I have created a Grocery list. If I want to add something to that Grocery list, I just say: Please add (item) to (name of list) in Reminders. Siri will come back and ask you to confirm this. Just flick to yes or confirm and double tap. Another thing you can do is have Siri list out the items you have in a certain list. For example, you can say: What items do I have in (name of list) in reminders. Siri will come back and put a list of the items you have in that reminder list on the screen. You can flick through the list. It even has a checkbox so you can check it when you have that item or have completed that particular task. You can do all of this without even having to open up the reminder app! This can be very handy!! So you can just ask Siri to add to any list, or list out the items you have on your priority list, grocery list, packing for a trip list, or what ever list you want to create. All of the things I have mentioned above, I have already tried and successfully done using Siri. If anyone has any questions, feel free to let me know. I was aware of the lists but hadn’t thought of high priority or organizing my shopping like that, doh! I might try Remember the Milk and see how it works with Siri. I love Siri with my reminders and calendar. I am not sure if you already know, but you can create different reminder list. Like I created a Grocery list that I use when I go shopping. That way you can check things off as you put them in your cart. And if there is something that you were not able to get, then it will remain on the grocery list until you go shopping again. In the top left corner of the screen, you have a shows lists button. This will take you to a screen where it contains all of your list. On the list screen, you can look at a particular list or create a new one. I guess you could create a High Priority list if you like, and put only high priority things on that list.
