Hi Wren, You can look for the .ipa files in your iTunes library and copy them to another place for safe keeping. Then (if you need to copy them back to your iTunes library, on a new computer or if you undergo Windows re-installation for example) you can add them from the iTunes file menu.

What folder in iTunes would I Copy them into? Hi All, and thank you for the help I a am going to upgrade my iPhone to an iPhone if it comes out. IS there any way to put my apps on a thumb drive in case something happens to my computer? I know that the apps can be transferred from one iPhone to another, but as I have been having computer problems I wanted to find out if there is a way to store the apps separately. Also if they are on a thumb drive how would I get them back into ITunes? I should say which folder in iTunes would I copy them into? If this is too complicated, or if it has been discussed before please write me off list. Thank you all again.
