Hi Desi, This happens because a word is right on the edge of the screen. VoiceOver can see it, even though it doesn't appear visually. So, say you move your finger around on the screen and find the word on the right side. Touch the word so VO is focused on it, then scroll left with three fingers. This moves the focus so the word is now closer to the left side of the screen. Then, when you double tap on it, it should be editable.
