That's not totally true, you cannot set up 1 reminder to go off hourly. Siri will tell you that it can't remind you that often. SO that works for something that you may need to set a reminder for once a day, or 3 times a day, where you could set 3 different alarms, but settting reminders to go off from 6 AM to midnight, which is what she's looking for, would be quite a task to configure with the native Reminders application.
