Depending on which Bose system you have, you can get the adapter from Bose.
For example, I have the Bose Sound Dock 10 which is only sold in Bose stores.
It's their top of the line system made specially for the iPhone and other smart
phones. It does not come with Bluetooth. Instead it comes with a hand full of
adaptors and you drop your iPhone in the slot to connect. I don't like that
and my wife after 23 years of being married knows what I like or wouldn't like.
So she spent the extra hundred bucks to buy the Bluetooth adaptor. I don't
need to connect by sticking my phone in a dock. The sound cock 10 comes with a
wireless remote control and I like that for skipping through titles and such.

There are a couple of devices out there that will let you plug the adaptor in
the head phone jack and there is another peace that connects to an amp and
speakers but as I understand it, they aren't cheap at around a hundred bucks.
Bose also makes a couple of other systems that is cheaper then the 7 hundred
bucks the sound dock 10 costs. IMHO, it would be pretty hard to beat the sound
dock 10 though for sound. Not only bass, anybody can do that but for the
dynamic range which is what gives music that live sound.

  Subject: Blue Tooth adapter question

  Hi all,
I realize this might be stretching the topic a bit but it is for my iPhone.
Does anyone know of a Bluetooth adapter that looks like a male head phone jack
that I could plug in to an input of a Bose or stereo so songs can be played on
that device using Bluetooth rather than having to physically plug my iPhone
into the Bose? Any thoughts are welcome. It would have to be a receiver not a
transmitter. Hope this makes sense.
