OT, but related: any mileage in Scrabble? it works the same except you make up all the words. I could make an online version of that, but not this kind of CW puzzle. not got the words or clues you see.

Unfortunately, the problem that you're seeing is a bug with the VoiceOver support. It's showing the new puzzle on the screen but is unfortunately still announcing the clues from the previous puzzle. Please accept my apologies. The good news is that I've submitted a fix to Apple: I'm just waiting for it to be reviewed and then it'll be available to you. In the meantime, closing the app using the app switcher (double-tap the home button to access it) and opening it again will allow you to tackle another puzzle.
