I would add to that, you can also uncheck apps that you want deleted from
your phone. The advantage is, when you hit the apply button, you can do it
all in one shot. example,, if I want to roll back an app because it is not
as functional as the previous version I can check the previous version
assuming of course I didn't delete it from my computer. You should also
know that using a previous app that it might or might not work any longer.
For example, I like the previous version of the Chicago Bears app. Why?
Because it shows video in the title of the peace and the newer version does
not. This can be important if I'm not using WI-FI and the clip is video. I
might choose to view it when I get home and connect to my home network.
It's a minor thing but the developer is letting people chose for themselves
which version they want to use. That's not always the case.

From iTunes 11, I highlight my iPhone, place focus on the Apps button,
place
focus on the app in the File Transfer section, and then execute the Add
button where I then select the file from my computer to place on the
phone.

What method are you using to transfer the files between apps.

I'm starting to use a handful of apps that allow transfer of files
between
my computer and my iPhone 5 via iTunes. I've never been impressed with
how
file management or lack thereof works on Apple iDevices but I realize it
is
what it is and am making the best of it. I'm wondering if anyone knows
how
the iDevice handles a file that you've transferred to it from more than
one
app. For example, if I've transferred a Word doc to Office 2 Plus and
also
to Ubidisk, would that file be stored twice on my iDevice? I suspect it
would but since Apple keeps a lot of how file management works on its
devices behind the curtain, I wasn't really sure.
This is more of a question of curiosity but I'd be interested in the
answer
from those who are knowledgeable in this area. Thanks in advance.
